The HBC-BSA believes strongly that we should put back into the community that supports us.

The 2007 Committee decided that Karelle Life Enrichment Services was the charity that we feel is most deserving of our support and we have really enjoyed working with them throughout 2007 and into the future.

The HBC-BSA achieved it's goal of raising $1000 in 2007. It was a pleasure to present the cheque to Karelle at our November meeting. We will keep you updated with our goal for 2008.

Karelle Life Enrichment provide services that showcase the immense strength and perseverance of people with a disability, highlighting their abilities and providing them with opportunities to experience life to the fullest. As importantly, to give children and young people in crisis the support to live stable, rewarding lives.

There are lots of ways that the corporate community can support this fantastic charity such as:

• Sponsorships of programs
• Sponsorships of equipment
• Provision of premises for training programs
• Fundraising activities
• Workplace giving programs

They do an amazing job in the community without the government support that they deserve.
